Dabaiba discusses economic cooperation with UAE Vice President

UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU) Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba discussed "aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various economic fields," according to a statement issued by Dabaiba's media office.

This meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, which began on Monday and will continue until Wednesday, in Dubai.

The UAE Vice President welcomed the participation of the Prime Minister and several Libyan government institutions in the World Government Summit, held in the United Arab Emirates, as a step towards increasing cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by GNU Cabinet Minister Adel Juma, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Al Jaber, and Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security Ali Al Shamsi.

During the opening day, Dabaiba met with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Rwandan President Paul Kagame, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, WHO chief Tedros Ghebreyesus, and Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Tamim, according to his media office.
