The Minister of Local Government for Libya's parliament-appointed government, Sami Al-Dawi, discussed on Tuesday the possibility of contracting with the Chinese company CDG for investment and construction in order to establish a number of projects in municipalities under its control.
According to a statement issued by the government, "the Minister of Local Government praised the work of the Chinese company and called for the company's credentials be submitted for consideration and approval by the Libyan government."
Al-Dawi also stressed the ministry's keenness to support local companies, saying it attaches great importance to the training and development of local companies through benefiting from the expertise of Chinese companies.
