China has confirmed the readiness of its companies to return to Libya and complete the stalled projects that were contracted in the transportation sector in previous years, according to the Ministry of Transport for the the Government of National Unity (GNU).

The Chinese confirmation came from the Chargé d'Affaires at the Chinese Embassy in Libya, Liu Jian, during his meeting on Wednesday morning, with Transport Minister Mohamed Salem Al-Shahoubi at the ministry's headquarters in Tripoli.

The ministry added that Al-Shahoubi praised the depth of relations between Libya and China during the meeting and called on Chinese companies to return to Libya to complete stalled projects, contribute to reconstruction projects, and expand the field of cooperation between the two countries.
