Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company said that the Raguba oil field (Sirte Basin) achieved a production rate of 13,300 barrels per day of crude oil, a rate that has not been reached since 2011.
The announcement of the increase in production came after the company's Chairman Mustafa Hammad was briefed on the progress of operations on Monday, according to a statement issued by the company.
The last time Raguba announced an increase in production was June 2019, when the company comenced the final testing of a new well (H111-20) producing 1,102 barrels per day.
