The Misurata Free Zone has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Harbour Engineering Company to study investment in infrastructure projects.

According to a statement, the MoU signed on the sidelines of the North Africa International Conference and Exhibition for Ports and Free Zones stipulated the preparation and start of studying a set of projects for the development of the free zone at its sites (A) and (B) and investment in major infrastructure projects.

China Harbour is a leading Chinese company in the field of port operations and engineering works. It also specializes in the implementation of major infrastructure projects, including the development of ports, tunnels, bridges, roads and marine projects, and operates in more than a hundred countries and regions.
