A flight carrying more than 70 representatives of international and Arab companies arrived at Benina International Airport at dawn on Tuesday to participate in the International Conference for the Reconstruction of Derna and areas affected by Storm Daniel flooding.

The representatives include companies from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Romania, France and Belarus, according to a brief statement issued by Libya's parliament-appointed government.

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Yildiz and Turkish Ambassador to Libya Kanan Yilmaz also arrived at the head of a high-level delegation in Benghazi to participate in the conference.

The activities of the International Conference for the Reconstruction of Derna will begin on November 1.
