Bangladesh is preparing to sign a memorandum of understanding with Libya aimed at regulating the movement of labor between the two countries, according to what was confirmed by Ambassador Shamim Al-Zaman and an announcement by the Ministry of Labor for Libya's interim Government of National Unity.

The Bangladeshi ambassador's confirmation came during his meeting on Monday, with the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, on the occasion of the end of his term as ambassador to Libya.

The ministry said that Al-Abed praised the ambassador's efforts during his tenure in Libya, which contributed to strengthening the existing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and increasing joint cooperation in all fields, especially the labor field.
