The Central Bank of Libya in Al-Bayda denounced parliament's decision to dismiss Deputy Governor Ali al-Hibri.

The bank also requested clarification from the Presidency of the House of Representatives about the matter, according to a statement on its Facebook page on Wednesday.

The House of Representatives announced the dismissal of al-Hibri from his position in the bank, and the termination of his membership and chairmanship of the Benghazi and Derna stabilization committees on Tuesday.
