Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his country's readiness to support Libya in the field of reconstruction during a joint press conference with Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba.

"We will provide about 150,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine to the Libyan government," the Turkish president said, adding: "all agreements and memorandums agreed today and earlier will be activated."

"We agreed on several points, including communication and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Libya," Erdogan said, adding: "We will defend our common security, and our goal is to defend the unity of Libya's soil."
