On Saturday, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, discussed with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, the latest developments in the region and their impact on supply chain security and the stability of energy and trade markets.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Dabaiba emphasized the importance of intensifying coordination among sister nations at this stage and working to support de-escalation efforts and prioritize political solutions, thereby preserving regional security and averting further tension and escalation, according to a post by the “Our Government” platform on Facebook .
Maintaining the Flow of Supplies
Dabaiba also stressed the need to maintain the flow of supplies and avoid exposing the economic interests of nations to any further disruptions.
He affirmed that the region’s stability is directly linked to ensuring the continued flow of energy and trade, serving the interests and economic stability of its peoples.
Antalya Diplomacy Forum
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum is an annual international platform launched by Turkey to bring together world leaders, foreign ministers, and experts to discuss global crises through an innovative dialogue-based approach.
The forum focuses on promoting “preventive diplomacy” and conflict resolution, reflecting Antalya’s role as a vital hub for mediation and building bridges between East and West amid growing international tensions.
The 2026 edition revolves around the theme “Shaping Tomorrow,” addressing pressing issues such as the Gaza conflict, global energy security, and climate change, with the participation of more than 150 countries.
