Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba reiterated Libya's firm position in support of the Palestinian cause and its rejection of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Monday.

This came during a meeting with Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister and Information Minister Nabil Abu Rudeineh in Tripoli.

A government statement said that the meeting discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Palestine, mechanisms for providing humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid al-Lafi, Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour, and the Palestinian Ambassador to Libya Mohammed Rahhal.
