Presidential Council leader Mohamed Menfi participated Wednesday in the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

Menfi received the invitation to attend from Forum President and CEO Børge Brende to participate. 

The 56th session, is being held from January 19 to 23, under the theme “The Spirit of Dialogue,” in the presence of heads of state and heads of regional and international organizations, as well as representatives of major private sector institutions, according to a statement from the Presidential Council's media office.

Forum agenda

The forum sessions addressed topics related to strengthening international cooperation, supporting global prosperity, expanding reliance on technology and innovation as engines of growth, and investing in human capital.

The statement noted that the forum coincides with profound geopolitical, technological, and social transformations around the world, and provides “a neutral platform to connect leaders from different fields to address common challenges and promote innovations that will shape the future.”
