On Thursday, employees of the Ministry of Tourism organized a protest against the decision by the head of the Government of National Unity to hand over the ministry's headquarters in Tripoli to the High Council of State.

The employees held up banners condemning the decision, including: "We waited for life to return to the tourism sector, instead we received a death certificate." Referring to Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba's 'Return to Life' modernization programme.
