Libya's parliament-appointed government led by Prime Minister Osama Hammad announced on Thursday, final preparations for the opening of Beit Sebha Hotel after the completion of renovation and development work.

This came during an inspection visit by Deputy Prime Minister Salem Al-Zadma to the hotel, which has been previously neglected for many years.

A statement published on the government's Facebook page explained that the development work includes the maintenance of the hotel, its complete renovation and the expansion of its facilities through the Projects and Technical Affairs Department at the Cabinet Office in the southern region.

According to the statement, Al-Zadma stressed that "the government is continuing construction and development work in various Libyan regions in order to achieve stability and development."
