The Department for Combating Illegal Migration in Benghazi said it deported 109 migrants, who hold Sudanese and Chadian nationalities, last Thursday.
The department's media office said the group was transported from the Ganfouda shelter to Kufra in preparation for their return to their countries.
It pointed out that the some of the deportees already had security restrictions and deportation rulings against them.
Libya's parliamen-appointed government headed by Osama Hammad said it plans to hold an international conference on the phenomenon of irregular migration in the city of Benghazi in late January.
