The Interior Ministry for Libya's Government of National Unity (GNU) announced the intervention of a Law Enforcement Department force to prevent an attack on a citizen's land near Ghout Al-Shaal roundabout in Tripoli.

The ministry added in a statement, that the Attorney General issued orders to patrols of the department regarding a dispute on a plot of land in the Al-Karama neighborhood. The statement noted that the property is owned by a female citizen who was under threat.

The ministry said that the force stopped the "encroachment on the ground, and took all legal measures in this regard".
