On Sunday, the General Command announced that the Police and Military Prisons Department, affiliated with it, has assumed the tasks of securing Al-Jalaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents in the city of Benghazi.

The Military Media Division of the General Command indicated that the deployment of the military police forces came based on the appeal of citizens and medical staff due to the large number of violations and security breaches that have occured due to violent behavior by individuals.

For its part, the hospital administration indicated that the new security plan "took place in coordination with the Director General of the hospital, Juma Rishi".
