Brigadier General Mohamed Breida, Assistant Head of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) in Tripoli, announced the deportation of 342 irregular migrants to Guinea and Gambia through Tripoli's Mitiga International Airport.

He said in a statement to Alwasat that 170 migrants left for Gambia on a flight on Tuesday, while another 172 departed to Guinea Monday.

Breida pointed out that the process of returing irregular migrants to their origin countries continues on an almost daily basis.
