A ship loaded with turbine accessories for the second gas unit of the Tobruk gas power station project arrived at the Tobruk sea port on Friday.

The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) said in a statement that the ship also contains equipment and materials complementary to the work of the third and fourth units, which are currently being implemented.

The statement pointed out that this comes in light of the efforts of the company to complete contracted projects in order to raise production capacities and meet the growing demand for energy.
