Libyan National Security Adviser Ibrahim Bushnaf held discussions on ccoperation with Russia’s Security Council head Nikolay Patrushev in Moscow on Monday.

According to the press service of the Russian Security Council, Patrushev and Bushnaf discussed the interaction between the security councils, law enforcement agencies and intelligence services.

“Special attention was paid to anti-terrorist activities and cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations,” it said in a statement.

The two officials also spoke about the security situation in the Middle East and North Africa, the statement added.
