The Bani Walid Security Directorate called on all passers-by and travelers on the Bani Walid-Tarhuna road to take caution while driving due to the flow of torrential rains in Wadi Dinar, north of the city of Bani Walid.

The media office of the Bani Walid Security Directorate explained in a statement to Alwasat that the directorate conducted fixed police patrols to help pedestrians on the Bani Walid-Tarhuna road and secondary roads in the area in the event of any emergency.

Activists on social media recorded traffic accidents on the Bani Walid-Tarhuna road on Tuesday evening, after a number of passing cars swerved on the road as a result of flooding in the valley.

No injuries have been announced so far.
