Libya's interim Government of National Unity (GNU) announced on Wednesday evening that a ship with 700 rooms is on its way to the coast of Derna, to contribute to providing housing for the displaced and rescue teams.

Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba directed the management of the Kevalay Travel and Tourism Company to dock its commercial ship at the port of Derna sea for a period of 60 days, which may be extended.

Earlier today, Dabaiba asked the head of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bengdara, to assign the Brega Oil and Gas Marketing Company to take urgent and immediate measures to provide free fule for flights to airports in the eastern region.
