The Speaker of Libya's House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, said on Tuesday that "what was issued at the session on June 26 is invalid."

The June 26 session was chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Musbah Doma and named new chairmen for the Administrative Control Commission and the National Planning Council. Members also voted to choose the president and members of the Constitutional Court.

About 40 house members protested against these decisions and the legality of the session, threatening a boycott.
