The Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation for Libya's Interim Government of National Unity announced on Thursday that the Director of the Murzuq Reconstruction Fund, Miloud Saleh, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program, Marc-André Franche, to support the fund.

This came in a ceremony attended by Minister of Labor Ali Al-Abed, Minister of Planning Mohammed Al-Zaidani, Undersecretary for International Cooperation and Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Omar Katti, and representatives of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, according to a ministry statement.

The United Nations Development Programme, in partnership with United Nations Population Fund will support a number of projects in Murzuq municipality that help internally displaced persons return to their homes and restore life in war-affected areas.

On the sidelines of the signing, Al-Abed stressed the importance of launching a number of small and medium enterprises and supporting the outputs of the training operations carried out by the ministry, especially in the professional and craft aspect.
