Alwasat's correspondent in Tobruk said that the security forces managed to free 237 migrants who were being held in a farm in a suburb of the city in eastern Libya.
The correspondent stated that law enforcement force and the Tobruk Security Directorate raided a farm that was used to detain migrants and freed 237 individuals of Egyptian and Pakistani nationality, including more than 10 children under the age of 18.
At the beginning of last June, the border cities of Tobruk and Musaid and their neighboring regions witnessed an extensive security campaign targeting human and drug smugglers.
