Patrols of the General Directorate of Security Operations began a campaign to remove illegally constructed buildings within the administrative boundaries of Al-Khoms municipality on Wednesday.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Interior for the interim Government of National Unity, the campaign was kicked off after orders by Attorney General Siddiq Al-Sur.
