The work of the Preparatory Meeting for the National Reconciliation Conference concluded on Thursday morning in Tripoli.

Presidential Council member Abdullah Al-Lafi delivered a speech about the imminent organization of an inclusive conference for reconciliation, which will pave the way for general elections.

The British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, congratulated the Presidential Council for holding meeting, saying "I've personally seen the value of reconciliation efforts in many countries post-conflict and so was pleased to participate. Look forward to seeing this work develop."
