The 128th Enhanced Brigade of the General Command announced the transfer of 360 migrants and their belongings to the Illegal Immigration Agency.

The 128th Enhanced Brigade said that its forces "were able to capture the migrants in an earlier period while they were attempting to cross towards Europe from the Harawah region east of the city of Sirte."

In its latest statistics, the International Organization for Migration indicated that 21,457 migrants have been intercepted and returned to Libya in 2022.
