The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced on Monday that it is nearing the completion of a project to establish a workshop for gas compressors in the Nafoura field.

The company stated that “the project of a maintenance workshop for equipment and spare parts for high-speed gas compressors is nearing completion,” noting that it is in “the final stages of the construction at the main pumping station in the Nafoura field.”

Work on the project began on June 26, 2021.

Production at Nafoura field is about 35,000 barrels per day.
