Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 16 new COVID infections and zero deaths during the period of November 28 to December 4.

The center added that 152 samples were examined, resulting in a 8.9% positive rate.

The center announced in July that it would re-start publishing a daily update of the epidemiological situation in the country after a months-long hiatus.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya since March 2020 to 507,610 with 6,437 deaths.
