The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced that it facilitated a charter flight to return 141 migrants home from Libya to Mali.

The flight took off from the city of Sebha to the Malian capital, Bamako, according to the organization's statement.

The statement indicated that the trip comes within the framework of the voluntary humanitarian return campaign for migrants, and to provide an immediate and safe alternative for those who wish to return to their homes.
