Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah arrived at Tripoli's Mitiga Airport to participate in the international ministerial conference on the Libya stabilization initiative which will be hosted by the city on Thursday.

Upon his arrival, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation were received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Najla Mangoush, and a number of officials.

Mangoush announced on Sunday, the details of the Libya stabilization initiative saying that its aim is “for Libya to be an arena for positive economic competition.”

She added that the initiative also aims "to ensure the optimal representation of UN resolutions, especially Security Council resolutions 2570 and 2571, in addition to the Berlin Conferences 1 and 2 on Libya and to discuss the consensus required to address obstacles to their implementation."
