A high-profile criminal nicknamed "El-Bob" was killed in the city of Sabratha, after a confrontation with the security forces.

The beginning of the incident dates back to the issuance of an arrest warrant against him, accusing him of killing his brother and his wife, as well as committing armed robbery crimes against families in the Talil area, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior.

Members of the Criminal Investigation Department in Sabratha were able to find the fugitive “El-Bob” during one a robbery.

He was found with a Kalashnikov rifle, a pistol, and a grenade in his possession. The Public Prosecution was notified immediately and the body was transferred to Sabratha Hospital.
