Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sabah, arrived in Tripoli today, carrying a written letter for the head of Libya's Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, from the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, which included an invitation to visit Kuwait.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Emir to Menfi, and the keenness of the State of Kuwait on fraternal relations between the two countries, according to a statement by the Presidential Council today
He also stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of strengthening them in order to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The Kuwaiti minister also met with government of national unity prime minister, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, in the presence of foreign minister Najla Al-Mangoush.
The meeting, held at the prime minister's office, discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in order to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
