Government of National Accord (GNA) Foreign Minister, Mohamed Al-Taher Siala met with the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed, prior to the Arab League meeting in Cairo.

In a statement the GNA Foreign Ministry, said that Siala’s meeting with Al-Mohammed comes in the framework of his consultations and coordination with a number of countries.

Siala also met in Cairo, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit,  and Lebanese Foreign Minister Nassif Hitti, where he stressed the necessity of uniting the Arab position and full coordination to solve the Libyan crisis and stopping the war in Tripoli.

Siala arrived in the Egyptian capital from Morocco, where he participated in the eighth ministerial conference on migration and development held in the city of Marrakech, and delivered a speech in which he stressed that Libya made every effort to limit the flow of migrants to Europe despite the limited capabilities.
