The spokesman for the General Command, Major General Ahmad Al-Mismari, said on his Facebook page that "the wreckage of the militia Mirage F1 plane that was shot down today was found," he previously said it had tried to target troops stationed at al-Jufra air base in central Libya.

Al-Mismari did not announce where the wreckage was found. A spokesman for Government of National Accord forces denied any plane had been shot down, adding: "we did not carry out any raids today due to bad weather conditions."
