Since its opening a week ago, the French field hospital in Derna has received 567 patients, including 340 men, 227 women, 91 children and 17 infants, according to French Ambassador Mostafa Mihraje.
The ambassador added on his X account that the hospital also performed 14 surgeries, 105 x-rays, 36 blood tests and 19 ultrasounds.
Last Monday, the French embassy in Libya announced that the field hospital received its first cases from the aftermath of Storm Daniel, noting that the hospital is equipped with two operating and delivery rooms, 14 beds for shelter, and can care for about 100 patients per day.
