Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of21 new COVID infections and zero deaths during the period of December 19-25.

The center added that 522 samples were examined.

The center announced in July that it would re-start publishing a daily update of the epidemiological situation in the country after a months-long hiatus.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya since March 2020 to 507,142 with 6,437 deaths.
