Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of three new COVID infections during the past 24 hours.

The center added that 45 samples were examined, resulting in a 6.6% positive rate.

The center announced in July that it would re-start publishing a daily update of the epidemiological situation in the country after a months-long hiatus.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya since March 2020 to 506,991 with 6,437 deaths.
