In the third quarter, Al-Ittihad extended its lead to five points, ending the quarter ahead 73–68. The fourth and final quarter reached a climax of excitement, during which the UAE team managed to turn the result in its favor, achieving a 97–95 victory.

It is worth noting that Al-Ittihad started their participation in the Dubai Basketball Championship strongly, after achieving a blow out victory over the Emirati team Al-Nasr with a score of 106–70.
