The Traffic Affairs Office of the Tripoli Security Directorate announced the closure of Al-Shatt Road, from Souq Al-Thulatha Roundabout to Mitiga Roundabout, on Saturday.

In a statement, the office said the closure will begin at 7:00 a.m., coinciding with the start of the eighth annual Tripoli Half Marathon.

The office stressed the importance of taking alternative routes during the closure and following the instructions of patrols, traffic officers, and emergency services deployed in the area to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate the event.
