Libyans celebrate 1-0 victory over Angola in World Cup qualifiers as national team now sits atop Group F

Libyans celebrated the national football team's 1-0 victory over Angola in the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday evening.

Libyan fans followed the match in cafes and streets where large screens broadcasted the match. Fireworks we set off in front of Tripoli's Grand Hotel in celebration of the victory.

The goal for the Libyan national team was scored by Omar Al-Khoja in the 43rd minute of the first half of the match.

Following the victory, Libya's undefeated 'Mediterranean Knights' now top Group F with six points, Egypt is second with four points, Gabon is third with one point, and Angola at fourth with zero points.
