The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced the arrival of 12 containers loaded with cooling systems and complementary equipment for the third and fourth generating units of th Tobruk gas power station project under construction in the east of the country.

The company explained on its Facebook page that this shipment is supplied by the American company General Electric, and arrived at the site of the new Tobruk gas power plant project on Saturday.

The company added that this shipment comes as part of its efforts to complete the remaining units of the Tobruk gas plant project to add new production capacities that will help cover the growing demand for electrical energy.
