Libyan Airlines announced the launch of the first direct flight to Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah in September.

The company said it would transport pilgrims to perform their rituals through more than one airport in Libya, according to a statement on Thursday.

Libyan Airlines also promised discounts on Umrah ticket prices for those wishing to perform the ritual.

The company indicated in its statement that it will publish the full dates and schedules in the coming days.
