According to official data issued by the Central Bank of Libya Monday, Libya’s total imports during the past year amounted to $19.9 billion.
Turkey topped the list of countries exporting goods and services to Libya in 2022, at $2.8 billion. China came second at $2.3 billion, then Italy at $2.2 billion.
The total value of Greece's exports to Libya reached $1.9 billion in 2022, followed by the United Arab Emirates at $1.8 billion.
Inflation in Libya
The Central Bank also reported an increase in the inflation rate during the first quarter of 2023, placing it at 3.1%.
