Dabaiba discusses arrangements for launching power plant project south of Tripoli with Chairman of Turkey's Çalık Holding

Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba held a discussion with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkey's Çalik Holding Company, Ahmed Çalik, on arrangements for launching a power plant project south of Tripoli, according to a statement issued by his media office.

Last January, the management of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) discussed in an expanded meeting with the Turkish company, the drawing up of an integrated technical presentation that included the implementation of a project to establish a power station with four production units and a capacity of 330 megawatts per unit, south of Tripoli.

Çalık Holding is a Turkish company that has been operating in the energy, construction, mining, textile, finance, and telecom sectors since the 1980s.
