Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba has approved the plan of the Benghazi and Derna Reconstruction Fund, directing its speedy completion.

This came after the fund's General Manager, Ali Abhairi, presented the work plan that the fund intends to implement, as well as the financial allocations necessary for the work, according to a statement by Dabaiba's media office.

The fund was established by Cabinet Resolution No. 45 for the 2021 and was allocated 1.5 Billion Libyan dinars for the reconstruction of areas destroyed by war, and the removal remnants in the cities of Benghazi and Derna.
