Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced that the number of irregular migrants arriving in Italy from Libya and Tunisia is decreasing.
In remarks published by Italy's Agenzia Nova, Tajani praised what he called positive reactions from the United Nations to the migration issue, from the countries of departure and those who want to cooperate with measures to combat human trafficking.
"A lot of diplomacy is needed and we are working intensively, and the number of people arriving in Italy from Tunisia and Libya is already decreasing. We have already had the first positive results and we have to be serious and decisive."
