Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio is holding talks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the Libyan crisis, among several regional and international files, according to the Italian website Decode 39.

The visit comes at the 90th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between Rome and Riyadh.

Last week, Italian envoy to Libya, Nicola Orlando, met with officials in Qatar and the UAE. The Italian envoy’s meetings came as part of a series of meetings held inside and outside Libya with regional parties.
