The construction of Libya's first rugby stadium has been completed in Benghazi. The establishment of this stadium comes in partnership with the municipality of Benghazi and the University of Benghazi, where it is located.

The stadium built by several specialized national companies is the culmination of the 'Rugby 2018' campaign in which fans of the game spent six years pushing for a professional space to play the sport.
